Dear Students & Parents,
Fr. Robert Spitzer, one of the authors of the Principles & Choices curriculum that I'm using this year, gave the Commencement address at Christendom College earlier this year.
In his talk, he goes into some of the most important principles we have covered in our class so far this year, on happiness, success, purpose, and love. Fr. Spitzer actually takes some of the key ideas and turns them into a short daily decision that he uses -- and invites us to use -- to follow Christ more closely every day.
You may find the video and audio here: https://media.christendom.edu/2019/05/fr-robert-spitzer-commencement-address/
Or if (like me) you prefer to read it, here's the transcript: https://www.getprinciples.com/three-sane-decisions-to-help-you-save-your-soul/
What Fr. Spitzer refers to as "comparative" identity, purpose, etc. in this talk corresponds to Level 1-2, especially 2, and "contributive" corresponds to Level 3-4, especially 4.
Blessings,
Suchi / Mrs. Myjak
