Class dates: 5/6/18 and 5/20/18
- Develop your understanding by reviewing the cheatsheets from class.
- Invite questioner to pray with you – ex: “may the Holy Spirit lead us into all truth”
- Keep focus on finding the truth, not on winning the argument.
- Stay on topic – one topic at a time. Get an answer before moving on.
- Ask questions! (See the Effective Apologetics handout. Other examples: How do you know what books belong in the Bible? How can you prove it is inspired / infallible?)
- Consider what is true and untrue about claims. Agree where you can.
- Use logic and history in addition to the Bible. Are there fallacies involved?
- Check the context of any Scripture quoted.
