  • Person or not a person? Only one can be true of the same being in the same respect, at the same time.

Regardless of such quibbles, about whether Gosnell was killing the infants one second after they left the womb instead of partially inside or completely inside the womb—as in a routine late-term abortion—is merely a matter of geography. That one is murder and the other is a legal procedure is morally irreconcilable.

Does where you are change what you are?

Tiny preemies as small as 8.6 oz and born as early as 21 weeks' gestation have survived. How can babies the same ages and sizes not be babies (persons) just because they happen to be inside their mothers' wombs?
